Base stations of mobile operators in Azerbaijan can be brought to the analysis of compliance with the established norms, a source in the Azerbaijani telecommunications market told Trend.
The equipment of operators will be checked to make sure it fits the established technical standards and will interfere with other operators, the source said. This will allow regulating disputes between operators.
The measurement of technical parameters of radiation of radio electronic means to confirm their compliance with the established requirements will be possible in the testing laboratory that will be constructed in Azerbaijan.
The project envisages the construction of isolated facilities protected against the penetration of signals from the outside. The lab will be equipped with modern control and measuring apparatus (analyzers, measuring receivers, measuring antenna, power diapason measuring and other auxiliary equipment).
After creating of the testing laboratory all imported electronic equipment will be subjected to scrutiny verification. It will be possible to check in the laboratory the equipment operating at frequencies up to 20 GHz.
The laboratory will be built at the expense of the state budget. Depending on the number, size, specifications and technical equipment of the facilities, the cost of the project may vary from 10 to 20 million euros.
