Broadcasting of Uzbek TV channels will be carried out via Azerbaijan's Azerspace/Africasat-1a satellite, AzerCosmos, Azerbaijani national satellite operator, told Trend Oct. 27.
AzerCosmos earlier launched a test broadcasting of the 'Uzbekistan TV'.
Now talks are underway to discuss the possibility of broadcasting a number of other channels of Uzbekistan via the Azerbaijani satellite.
This satellite broadcasts over 120 television and 20 radio channels.
The service area of Azerspace/Africasat-1a covers the countries of Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Middle East and Africa.
