The High Tech Park of Azerbaijan’s National Academy of Sciences will start to manufacture another batch of remote monitoring devices in the near future, head of the High Tech Park Vugar Babayev told Trend.
The devices will be installed in the Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR’s wells on the Absheron Peninsula, according to Babayev.
“Currently, 50 SOCAR wells, connected to a centralized control system, are equipped with a monitoring system. The use of the control system allows increasing the profitability and efficiency of oil wells,” he said.
It will be possible to receive signals (information) about the wind speed, pressure, temperature, depth, etc. and predict emergency situations using the mentioned devices.
