Azerbaijani OTT (over the top media services) operator RA Technologies (RATV) is preparing for the deployment of a hotel television service in European countries, the company told Trend on Aug. 16.
According to the agency, the service is higher in demand in European countries than in Azerbaijan.
"The target markets will be mainly those countries where Russian-speaking tourists go most of all. It is possible that the service will be first launched in Greek hotels," the company said.
The service provides television channels for hotel guests, which they wish to watch in their native language. While registering at the hotel guests will be able to choose the TV package in their native language.
The main difference of the service lies in the fact that users will be offered TV channels, which they are used to watch in their home country.
