Sale of notebooks and netbooks in Azerbaijan increased by 12.8 percent in January to August 2018, Global Stats center said on Sept. 1.
In late August, the market share of notebooks in Azerbaijan reached 63 percent, which is 12 percent more compared to the same period of 2017.
A 16.6-percent decrease in desktop computer sales was recorded in Azerbaijan in January-August 2018.
The market share of desktop computers was 34.7 percent as of September 1, which is 14.3 percent less than in the same period of 2017.
The market share of tablets was 2.28 percent.
The market share of tablet computers decreased by 8.8 percent in January to August 2018 and by almost 29 percent compared to January to August 2017.
