BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 16. With a decline of 2.76 percentage points from the previous month, Android's share in Azerbaijan's operating system (OS) market fell to 65 percent in July 2024, Trend reports via the Global Stats statistical center.
Global Stats reports that Windows, the operating system from Microsoft, is in second place, with a market share of 18.09 percent, up 2.83 percentage points from the previous month.
Apple's iOS is still playing third fiddle, but it's managed to up its game by gaining 1.08 percentage points and reaching an 11.19 percent share.
Devices running the Linux platform account for 1.43 percent of the market, a decrease of 1.3 percentage points over the month.
Other operating systems in the Azerbaijani market include macOS X (Apple) at 1.37 percent, which grew by 0.25 percentage points over the month, and various other systems, which collectively make up 2.92 percent.
