BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 6. In December 2024, Android's slice of the pie in Azerbaijan's operating system market stood at 60.96 percent, taking a slight dip of 0.61 percentage points from the month before.
Data obtained by Trend from the Global Stats statistical center shows that Windows, Microsoft has climbed to the runner-up spot with a market share of 20.77 percent, slipping a tad by 0.31 percentage points from last month.
Next up, Apple's iOS has managed to catch up, gaining 0.86 percentage points and reaching a 13.16 percent share.
Devices running on the macOS X (Apple) platform hold a modest 1.66 percent of the market, indicating a decline of 0.17 percentage points over the month.
Alternative operating systems in the Azerbaijani market are facing challenges, with Linux commanding only 1.31 percent, reflecting an increase of 0.17 percentage points over the past month. Concurrently, several other operating systems account for a total of 2.14 percent.
