BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 28. Azerbaijan cranked out 1,427 laptops from the start of the year through May.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that
this metric experienced an uptick of 544 units, translating to a
year-over-year growth rate of 61.6 percent.
Furthermore, during the initial quintet of months in the current
fiscal year, the nation achieved a production output of 1,695
desktop computing units, representing an increment of 1,037 units,
or a multiplicative factor of 2.6, relative to the corresponding
timeframe of the preceding year.
In the timeframe spanning from January to May of 2024, a total of
883 portable computing devices and 658 stationary computing units
were manufactured within the geographical confines of
Azerbaijan.
It is pertinent to highlight that within the specified reporting
timeframe, the nation witnessed the production of goods valued at
88.6 million manat (equivalent to $52 million) across the sectors
of computing, electronics, optics, and electrical apparatus.
