Uzbekistan produced 96,727 cars in the period from January through April 2020, which is 17,113 more than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
As compared to the same period of 2019, the car manufacturing industry increased the production 1.2 times, and car engines by 1.2 times.
In the period from January through April 2020, 25,081 Nexia cars (growth rate against the same period of 2019 was 13.8 percent), Cobalt - 23,694 (+39.6 percent), Gentra - 17,907 (+40.7 percent), Damas - 17,561 (+23.6 percent), Spark - 10,365 (+58.1 percent), Labo - 2,119 (+79.5 percent) were produced.
During the reporting period, 424 buses were produced, which is 28.5-percent decrease compared to the same period in 2019. The largest production volume since the beginning of 2020 (176 buses) was recorded in March.
From January through April 2020, 1,237 trucks were produced in the Uzbekistan (+ 28.5 percent, compared to the same period in 2019). In the reporting period, the largest volume was registered in March, when 378 trucks were produced.
