For 10 months of 2017, 38 963 cars were sold by official dealers of Kazakhstan on the domestic market, which is 6 percent more than the indicator of same period 2016, the Association of Kazakhstan Automobile Businesses (AKAB) reports.
Exports, however, increased by 3.6-fold to 1,401 vehicles, compared to 391 vehicles for the same period last year.
The sales of new cars in October for the first time for a year exceeded mark of 5, 000 and reached 5027 cars.
As of November 2, 2017, 9,573 vehicles produced in Kazakhstan were sold on concessional lending terms.
The Development Bank of Kazakhstan agreed on 9,272 applications of second-tier banks for car loans in the total amount of 38,456.1 million tenge. Of these, six banks of the second level issued 9,573 loans for the purchase of vehicles of domestic automakers for a total of 37,377 billion tenge.
During the 10 months, the Interior Ministry of Kazakhstan registered 849 046 vehicles. Of these, 99,290 vehicles of all types were registered in October, which is 4.5 percent more than in September of this year, and 43.5 percent more than in January 2017, when 69,192 cars were registered.
According to the results of October 2017, the leader in the automobile market of Kazakhstan is Toyota, both in primary and secondary registrations - last month the figure totaled 968 units and 14,598 units respectively.
The most popular passenger car is Toyota, and in total in this segment 90,219 passenger cars were registered in October, and since the beginning of the year - 752,126 cars.
Among the trucks, the KAMAZ brand is the most widely distributed - 13 623 registrations since the beginning of 2017, the share of trucks is 5.83 percent, the total number of truck registrations was 49,484 units from January to October.
