BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. Kazakhstan will create a Digital Business Map as a new tool for targeted government support and data-driven decision-making, Vice Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Bekbolat Moldabekov said at a government meeting.

According to the press service of Kazakh government, the project does not envisage creating a new system from scratch. Instead, the existing Register of Business Entities will be developed into the core of a unified digital platform. The platform will combine government data, digital business profiles, analytical services, artificial intelligence tools and processes for providing state support measures.

The Digital Business Map will serve as a unified ecosystem for government agencies, businesses and operators responsible for support programs. The project includes integration of the Register of Business Entities with the Unified Personal Account, systems of the Ministry of Finance, state information systems and support program operators.

As a result, a unified digital profile will be created for each business entity. This will allow state support measures to be provided based on the company’s financial condition, development potential and risk level.

The platform will also include analytical dashboards for real-time assessment of economic indicators, analysis of the impact of tax reforms and other government decisions on business activity, as well as evaluation of the effectiveness of support measures. "Thus, decisions in the field of state support will be made not on the basis of separate statistical data, but on the basis of comprehensive analytics and objective indicators," Moldabekov said.

The initiative is part of Kazakhstan’s efforts to expand the use of digital tools in public administration and improve the targeting of business support mechanisms.
