BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, January 8. Kyrgyzstan produced about 638.624 million eggs from January through November 2023, representing a 12.6 percent increase over the same time in 2022 (567.406 million eggs), Trend reports.
Data from Kyrgyzstan’s State Statistical Committee indicates that 46.327 million eggs were produced in the country in November 2023, which is a rise of 15 percent compared to the same month in 2022 (39.975 million eggs).
At the same time, 1.654 million tons of milk were produced in the country over the 11 months of 2023, which is a 2-percent increase from the corresponding months of 2022 (1.614 million tons).
In November 2023, Kyrgyzstan produced 113,996 tons of milk. The production increased by 2 percent compared to November 2022 (111,324 tons).
The highest quantity of eggs (419.911 million) and milk (424,270 tons) were produced in the Chuy region of Kyrgyzstan.
The gross output value of agriculture in Kyrgyzstan totaled 359.2 billion soms ($4 billion) from January through November 2023. In the overall volume of agricultural production, products of livestock accounted for 45.2 percent.
