BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, April 14. Transport vehicles led the leasing market in Kyrgyzstan in 2024, accounting for 46 percent of the total value of financial leasing contracts.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's National Statistical Committee shows that agricultural machinery accounts for 26 percent and construction and road equipment for 20 percent.
At the same time, other leased items accounted for 8 percent of the total value.
In total, 22 leasing companies were active in Kyrgyzstan in 2024. Throughout the year, approximately 3,700 financial leasing agreements were signed, marking a 24 percent increase compared to the previous year. The total value of these contracts reached 6.6 billion soms ($75.4 million).
