ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 19. Several regions of Turkmenistan are preparing for seasonal work in the agro-industrial complex, Deputy Chairman Tangriguli Atahalliyev said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Trend reports via Turkmenistan's official media.
“Special attention is paid to the efficient operation of agricultural machinery, conducting vegetation irrigation on sown areas, as well as cotton processing,” the deputy noted.
According to Atahalliyev, preparations for rice harvest in the Dashoguz and Lebap regions and sugar beet harvest in the Mary region are also in full swing.
Furthermore, the chairman stressed that the sowing of wheat is currently underway in the country's regions. Winter crops are also being harvested, distributed to cold storage facilities, and supplying markets with agricultural products.
