Uzbekistan’s UzAuto Motors faced a shortage of semiconductors for Lacetti and Cobalt car models, Trend reports citing the press service of the company.
Due to this reason, these car models will be sold without car stereos.
According to UzAuto Motors, previously Humax car stereos were installed in the company's cars. However, due to the shortage of car stereos in the world market, it is not possible to sell cars with car stereos.
As a solution to the occurred problem, the company offers two options for its customers. According to the first one customer should purchase car stereo by himself and it will be installed at the company's dealerships. All expenses for the purchase and installation of the car stereo will be covered by the company. According to the second option, customers should get a car without a car stereo, wait until the shortage problem is solved and then install a car stereo.
