TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 9. The volume of liquified gas production by Uzbekneftegaz (Uzbekistan's state oil and gas company) amounted to 170,300 tons from January through March 2024, Trend reports.
According to the data from the company, this indicator has increased by 11,400 tons (107.2 percent) compared to the projected volume of 158,900 tons.
The production volume of liquefied gas decreased by 8,626 tons year-on-year (178,926 tons).
Meanwhile, the largest volume of products generated by the company falls on natural gas. Uzbekneftegaz produced natural gas in the amount of 6.9 billion cubic meters in the first quarter of 2024.
The value of exports amounted to $158.5 million, while imports reached $189.4 million during this period.
Uzbekneftegaz’s net profit amounted to 8.1 billion soums ($640,101) in the first quarter of 2024. Revenue volume reached 3.4 trillion soums ($268.6 million) during this period. The volume of expenditures totaled 3.39 trillion soums ($267.8 million) from January through March 2024.
In addition, the total volume of the company's investments totaled $287.4 million during this period.
