TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 4. Uzbekistan’s Karakalpakstan is projected to generate 3.3 trillion soums ($256.1 million) in revenue in 2025, Trend reports.
This is reflected in Uzbekistan’s state budget law for 2025.
According to the budget forecast, Karakalpakstan will also allocate 5.5 trillion soums ($426.8 million) for expenditures in 2025.
This financial plan reflects the region’s priorities for development and public services, in line with the country’s national budget for 2025. The budget also highlights Karakalpakstan’s role in the broader regional economic framework as part of Uzbekistan's long-term growth strategy.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s overall 2025 budget anticipates 65.8 trillion soums ($5.1 billion) in revenue and 84.3 trillion soums ($6.5 billion) in expenditures, reflecting the government’s commitment to regional development and public services.
