TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 10. Uzbekistan exported 169,800 tons of cabbage worth $47.6 million from January through November 2024.

Data obtained by Trend from the country’s Statistics Agency shows that Russia accounted for the largest volume of cabbage imports from Uzbekistan, with a total volume of 88,646 tons.

Uzbekistan's export metrics encompass a substantial volume of 67,877 tons directed towards Kazakhstan, alongside 8,565 tons allocated to Kyrgyzstan, 2,973 tons dispatched to Belarus, 1,311 tons forwarded to Latvia, and a residual 402 tons distributed across various other nations.

In the interim, Uzbekistan achieved an export volume of 1.89 million tons of horticultural produce, encompassing both fruits and vegetables, which translated to a substantial monetary value of $1.41 billion during the period spanning January to November 2024. The metric experienced a surge of 15.9 percent relative to the corresponding timeframe of the previous year, translating to 1.63 million tons from January to November 2023.

Russia has emerged as the preeminent importer of agricultural commodities from Uzbekistan, achieving a substantial throughput of 776,500 tons, translating to a market valuation of $595.2 million.
