TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 14. The number of enterprises and organizations with foreign capital in Uzbekistan reached 14,871 as of January 1, 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Statistics Agency shows that the lion's share of enterprises in the country were established with the backing of Chinese capital, totaling a whopping 3,357. The companies with Russian investments come in second with 2,937 enterprises.
The following are companies with capital from Türkiye (1,826), Kazakhstan (1,041), South Korea (644), and the US (304).
Meanwhile, the number of enterprises and organizations with foreign capital in Uzbekistan reached 15,450 from January through November 2024. Most of the enterprises in Uzbekistan were established with Chinese capital, totaling 3,372. The companies with Russian investments come in second with 3,067 enterprises.
