TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 15. Uzbekistan exported 23,515 tons of cabbage worth $8.3 million from January through February 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's National Statistics Committee indicates that the majority of the cabbage was exported to Russia (12,200 tons).
Kazakhstan followed with 8,600 tons, while Kyrgyzstan imported 2,200 tons. Smaller volumes were delivered to Latvia (161 tons) and Belarus (114 tons).
Uzbekistan continues to strengthen its position in regional agricultural exports, with cabbage remaining one of the key export products in the fresh vegetable category.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan sent forth a bountiful harvest of 176,200 tons of cabbage worth $49.8 million in 2024.
