The first round of talks involved Jacek Czerniak, Poland’s deputy minister of agriculture, and Piotr Kolada, head of the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR). The discussions focused on increasing bilateral trade, diversifying exports and addressing transport and logistics challenges.

The sides also highlighted the potential of the Polish-Uzbek Trade House, established in Ohangaron district of Tashkent region, to strengthen commercial ties and help businesses from both countries expand their market presence.

The delegation also met with Jacek Jarząbek, vice president of Wody Polskie, and representatives of Poland’s Ministry of Infrastructure. The sides also explored the use of drones and artificial intelligence to digitize water management and improve operational efficiency.

Plans were outlined to organize an online meeting between representatives of Uzbekistan’s Uzsuvtaminot water utility and Polish specialists, as well as to strengthen cooperation between the relevant government agencies.
