BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 3. The revenues of Iran's Hormozgan Steel Company from local sales increased by 15 trillion rials (about $35.7 million) during the first five months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through August 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through August 22, 2023), the statement of Hormozgan Steel Company said, Trend reports.
The company's revenue from local sales amounted to 88 trillion rials (about $209 million) during the five months. In the same period last year, the company's income from local sales amounted to 73 trillion rials (about $174 million).
The sales volume of Hormozgan Steel Company amounted to 463,453 tons for five months. This is 70,704 tons more than the same period last year. Thus, in the same period last year, the company's sales volume was 392,749 tons.
To note, Hormozgan Steel Company was established in 2006. The company can produce 1.5 million tons of slabs, 1.65 million tons of sponge iron, 90,000 tons of lime, and so on.
