BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 2. The sales of Iran's Mobarakeh Steel Company increased by 2.6 percent from July 22 through August 21, 2024, compared to the same period last year (from July 23 through August 22, 2023), the statement of Iran's Mobarakeh Steel Company said, Trend reports.
The sales value of Mobarakeh Steel Company during the mentioned period amounted to $539 million. During the same period last year, the company sold products worth about $526 million.
Meanwhile, the sales volume of Mobarakeh Steel Company for the five months (from March 20 through August 21, 2024) amounted to about 1.22 quadrillion rials (about $2.89 billion). This is 17 percent more than the same period last year (from March 21 through August 22, 2023).
The production of Mobarakeh Steel Company stood at 689,000 tons from July 22 through August 21, 2024.
To note, Iran's Mobarakeh Steel Company can produce 10.3 million tons of steel per year. The company produced about seven million tons of steel in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021).
