The sales volume of Iran's Sirjan Jahan Steel Company increased by 54 percent during the five months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through August 21, 2024) compared to the same period of last year (March 21 through August 22, 2023), the statement of Iran's Sirjan Jahan Steel Company said, Trend reports.
According to the information, Sirjan Jahan Steel Company sold 457,000 (457,176) tons of products during five months.
The company's sales of steel ingots amounted to about 193,000 (192,799) tons during the five months. The sales of the company's steel ingots increased by 19 percent compared to the same period last year.
Furthermore, the company sold 191,000 (191,051) tons of rebar over five months. The company's rebar sales increased by 41 percent year-on-year.
However, the company's sponge iron sales amounted to 73,300 (73,326) tons for five months. The sale of sponge iron has been added to the company's sales list for the first time.
To note, Iran's Sirjan Jahan steel company is located in Fars province in the south of the country. This company was established in 2009. The company produces sponge iron, rebar, steel ingots, and other products.
