Non-oil exports via Iran's Kerman Province customs increase in value terms

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 1. The exports of non-oil products through the Kerman Province customs office in southeastern Iran increased by 111 percent in value during seven months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2024) compared to the same period of last year (from March 21 through October 22, 2023), director general of the Kerman Provincial Customs Administration Mohammad Dolati told reporters, Trend reports.

The official did not specify whether the weight of products exported through the provincial customs has increased or decreased.

He stated that during the seven months, provincial customs primarily exported pistachios, copper cathode, molybdenum oxide, dates, and ferromolybdenum.

Dolati added that the products were exported through provincial customs to 59 countries, including India, Türkiye, the UAE, Germany, Russia, Pakistan, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

To note, Iran exported 70 million tons of non-oil products worth $25.8 billion in the first six months of the year. Compared to the same period last year, the export of products increased by 6.5 percent in value and 3.5 percent in weight.
