BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 3. Non-oil exports
through the customs of Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan provinces
amounted to $356 million, with a total weight of 1.86 million tons,
during the 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20,
2024, through February 18, 2025), controller of Iran's Sistan and
Baluchestan Province customs Mohammad Ali Khashi told local media,

Khashi stated that during the 11 months, non-oil product exports
through the customs of Sistan and Baluchestan province saw a 2
percent increase in value, while the weight of exports decreased by
7 percent compared to the same period last year (from March 21,
2023, through February 19, 2024).
He added that the main non-oil export products during this
period were cement, coal, chickpeas, fruits, and other agricultural
goods.
The customs official further mentioned that during this period,
products valued at $245 million were exported through Sistan and
Baluchestan province, primarily to Pakistan, followed by $31
million to Afghanistan, $26 million to China, and $25 million to
India.
Khashi highlighted that for 11 months, the province's customs
facilitated the import of 1.37 million tons of goods valued at $2
billion. The value of product imports saw a 23 percent increase
compared to the same period last year, while the weight of imports
decreased by 14 percent.
"During this period, the province primarily imported rice,
wheat, corn feed, sesame, red meat, mango, fabric, and car tires.
Imports amounted to $621 million from China, $445 million from
Pakistan, $290 million from India, $112 million from Russia, and
$71 million from the UAE," he added.
Meanwhile, during the 11 months of the current Iranian year,
Iran's non-oil exports amounted to 141 million tons, worth $53.4
billion. Non-oil exports increased by 19% in value and 12.6% in
weight compared to the same period last year.
Iran's non-oil product imports reached a total value of
approximately $63.6 billion, amounting to around 35 million tons,
in the first eleven months of the current Iranian year (from March
20, 2024, through February 18, 2025). The value of non-oil product
imports has increased by 5.6 percent compared to the same period
last year, although the weight has decreased by 2.6 percent.
