BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 22. Iran's non-oil exports to Tajikistan rose by 38 percent in value and 43.5 percent in weight in the first 2 months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through May 21, 2025), compared to the same period last year (from March 20 through May 20, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from the Iranian Customs Administration indicates that exports during this period reached $51.9 million, totaling 85,700 tons.
In a comparative analysis, Iran's exportation of non-oil
commodities to Tajikistan amounted to $37.6 million, encompassing a
total mass of 59,700 tons during the analogous timeframe of the
preceding year. The outbound shipments predominantly encompassed
petrochemical derivatives, metallurgical commodities, agrarian
outputs, and consumable goods.
The aggregate trade turnover between the two nations during the
specified timeframe reached $64.7 million and 91,500 tons,
reflecting a year-on-year escalation of 34.7 percent in monetary
value and a 42.4 percent uptick in volumetric metrics.
It is noteworthy that the Customs Administration has disclosed that
Iran's aggregate non-oil export volume for this bi-monthly interval
reached $8.24 billion, encompassing a total mass of 24.6 million
tons. In juxtaposition to the corresponding temporal segment of the
preceding annum, this delineates a decrement of 0.11 percent in
valuation, whereas the throughput experienced an augmentation of
4.4 percent.
