Iran's non-oil trade in the first half of the current Iranian fiscal year (March 21-Sept. 22) has amounted to $41.346 billion.
During the period, the country exported $20.494 billion worth of non-oil goods and imported worth $20.852, Iranian Customs Administration reported Sept. 28.
The trade balance was positive, whereas imports and exports decreased by 20.43 and 14.15 percent respectively compared to the same period of preceding year.
The exported goods were mainly raw material including gas condensates, petroleum gases and liquefied gas hydrocarbons, liquefied propane, ethylene polymers and petroleum oils.
China, Iraq, the UAE, Afghanistan and India were main destinations of the Iranian exported goods.
Meanwhile China, the UAE, South Korea, Turkey and India were the leading exporters of goods to Iran.
The most important imported goods by Iran were: livestock corn (3.17 percent of total imports' value), car parts (2.89 percent), pharmaceuticals (2.55 percent) and sedan cars (2.38 percent).
Iran imported 20,886 sedans in the first half of the current fiscal year, according to the report.
