Some 31,461 tons of phosphate concentrate were produced by Iran’s Esfordi Phosphate Industrial and Mineral Complex in the first four months of the current Iranian fiscal year (started March 21), a report said.
The output of Iran’s major phosphate producer, Esfordi Phosphate Industrial and Mineral Complex, reached 31,461 tons over four months, registering an 80 percent increase compared with last year’s corresponding period, according to the report published on the official website of IMIDRO recently.
Last year, 21,175 tons of phosphate concentrate were produced during the period.
The company’s phosphate extraction during the period was 102,437 tons, the report added.
Esfordi phosphate plant is a subsidiary of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company and located in Bafq County in Yazd Province.
