In the first six months (March 21-Sept.22, 2019) of the current Iranian year, Iran's exports via borders of its Qom province amounted to $69 million in monetary terms, Director General of Qom Customs Administration Mohammad Khalili said, Trend reports via IRNA.
The exports volume amounted to 65,800 tons and included shoes, lead, rubber, chemicals and hydrocarbons, Khalili said.
Main export destinations included Iraq, Afghanistan, the UAE, India, Pakistan and Uzbekistan, according to the director.
During the reported six months period, Iran imported 34,000 tons of goods for $166 million via the customs of Qom province, he added.
Main imports were cars, motorcycles and spare parts for them, acrylic fibers, washing machines, medical items and cosmetics, Khalili said, adding that the goods were mainly imported from South Korea, China, India, Italy, the UAE, Turkey and Japan.
The director further added that the revenues of the Qom province customs in the reported period amounted to 2.95 trillion rials (roughly $70 million).
