BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 28. Türkiye's exports of cement products to Iran decreased 42.3 percent year-on-year to almost $11.7 million from January through November 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
Turkey exported over $1.6 million worth of cement products to Iran in November of this year, up by 1.5 percent compared to the same month in 2023.
In the interim, Türkiye's outbound shipments of cement commodities to international markets experienced a contraction of 6.4 percent, totaling $4 billion during 11 months of 2024, relative to the corresponding timeframe last year.
However, the country exported $346 million worth of cement products abroad this November, which was 0.3 percent more than last November.
Türkiye's total export of cement products amounted to $4.3 billion in the last 12 months (from November 2023 through November 2024).
