BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 10. A fresh well has been brought online at the South Pars gas field, known as the Northern Dome in Qatar, a collaborative venture between Iran and Qatar, to keep the production wheels turning, Head of the Iranian Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) Touraj Dehghani told reporters, Trend reports.
He said that drilling and equipment installation work has been completed and put into operation in well No. 5 in the 12th phase of the South Pars gas field (SPD12B). This well is capable of delivering in excess of two million cubic meters of high-quality gas on a daily basis.
Dehghani mentioned that in order to maintain production in the South Pars gas field, 35 internal wells are planned to be drilled and put into operation. In this regard, the plan is being implemented in 17 phases. The activation of all extraction points will augment output from the reservoir by 36 million cubic meters daily.
The South Pars gas field (called North Dome in Qatar) is a joint gas field of Iran and Qatar. The proven reserves of the South Pars Gas Field are estimated at 51 trillion cubic meters of gas, of which 36 trillion are extractable. Iran's share in the field is 14 trillion cubic meters of gas and 18 billion barrels of gas condensate. At present, Iran's extraction metrics indicate a daily output exceeding 700 million cubic meters of gas from the designated reservoir.
Iran is considered the world's second-largest gas reserve country with about 34 trillion cubic meters of gas reserves. Currently, there are 22 operational gas fields within the Iranian energy sector.

İranın Cənubi Pars qaz yatağında yeni quyu istismara verilib

İranın Qətərlə müştərək qaz yatağı olan Cənubi Pars qaz yatağında (Qətərdə Şimal Günbəzi) hasilatın qorunması məqsədilə daxili quyu (Infill) istismara verilib.
Trend-in məlumatına görə, bunu İranın Pars Neft-Qaz Şirkətinin icra direktoru Turəc Dehqani yerli mediaya açıqlamasında deyib.
Onun sözlərinə görə, Cənubi Pars qaz yatağının 12-ci fazasında (SPD12B) 5 saylı quyuda qazma və avadanlıq quraşdırma işləri başa çatdırılıb və istismara verilib. Bu quyudan gündəlik 2 milyon kubmetrdən çox zəngin qaz hasil oluna bilər.
Dehqani bildirib ki, Cənubi Pars qaz yatağında hasilatın qorunması məqsədilə 35 daxili quyunun (Infill) qazılaraq istismara verilməsi nəzərdə tutulur. Bununla əlaqədar plan 17 fazada icra olunur. Bütün quyuların istismara verilməsi ilə yataqdan hasilat gündəlik 36 milyon kubmetr artacaq.
Əlavə edək ki, Cənubi Pars Qaz Yatağı (Qətərdə Şimal Günbəzi) İran və Qətər arasında birgə qaz yatağıdır. Bu yatağın 51 trilyon kubmetr qaz ehtiyatının olduğu və onun 36 trilyon kubmetrinin çıxarılmasının mümkün olduğu bildirilir. İranın bu yataqdakı payı 14 trilyon kubmetr qaz, 18 milyard barel qaz kondensatıdır. İran tərəfi yataqdan gündəlik 700 milyon kubmetrdən çox qaz hasil etdiyini bildirir.
