BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 1. The production of passenger cars at Iran Khodro Automobile Company (IKCO) has seen a notable increase, with output rising by 16 percent in the first month of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through April 20, 2025) compared to the same month of the previous year (from March 20 through April 19, 2024), Trend reports citing the company.
IKCO noted that the company produced around 29,300 cars in the first month of the current Iranian year.
The company’s positive performance is attributed to improved collaboration in equipment production and precise sales plans, which have had a direct impact on the increase in production.
Meanwhile, IKCO has set a goal for the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2025, through March 20, 2026) to continue improving both the quality and quantity of car production.
