Author of scandalous video footages showing violence and torture in Prison No.8 in Tbilisi, Vladimir Bedukadze was egged when leaving the building of Georgian Public Broadcaster late in the night on Monday.
He, along with his lawyer Elza Jmukhadze participated in David Paichadze's TV program.
In the courtyard of Georgian Public Broadcaster several citizens were waiting for him, who threw eggs at Bedukadze. Author of scandalous video footages was taken out of the yard with help of police.
Bedukadze's lawyer considers this action as "primitive provocation". She promises that all the people involved in this act, will answer before the law.
Part of Georgian society considers Bedukadze a hero, who revealed the truth about torture in prisons, while the other part treats think negatively of him. These people believe that he was shooting torture in prison for years, and did nothing until 2012.
