From January through October 2019, 29 companies with Uzbek capital were registered in Turkey, which is two companies fewer compared to the same period last year, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of Uzbek companies registered in Turkey in the first 10 months of 2019 amounted to just over six million Turkish liras ($1 million), while in the same period of 2018, this figure was just over four million Turkish liras ($710,955).
In the first 10 months of 2019, most of the Uzbek companies were registered in Istanbul (23 companies).
From January through October 2019, four industrial, three construction, and 17 wholesale and retail companies with Uzbek capital were registered in Turkey.
The remaining five companies with Uzbek capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
According to TOBB, the total capital of 17 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reported period amounted to just over 3.1 million liras ($541,001).
