From January through October 2019, 21 companies with Georgian capital were registered in Turkey, which is nine companies more compared to the same period last year, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of Georgian companies registered in Turkey in the first 10 months of 2019 amounted to just over 3.1 million Turkish liras ($540,131), while in the same period of 2018, this figure was just over one million Turkish liras ($181,087).
In the first 10 months of 2019, most of the Uzbek companies were registered in Istanbul (14 companies).
From January through October 2019, six industrial, six wholesale and retail companies with Georgian capital were registered in Turkey.
The remaining nine companies with Georgian capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
According to TOBB, the total capital of six wholesale and retail companies registered during the reporting period amounted to 900,000 liras ($156,559).
