From January through November 2019, 30 companies with Kazakh capital were registered in Turkey, which is two companies less than in the same period last year, Trend reports referring to Turkey's Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB).
The total capital of Kazakh companies registered in Turkey in the first 11 months of 2019 amounted to over 5.1 million Turkish liras ($860,129), while in the same period of 2018, this figure exceeded 3.4 million Turkish liras ($580,322).
In the first 11 months of 2019, the most Kazakh companies in Turkey were registered in Istanbul (17 companies), with a total capital of over 2.6 million Turkish liras ($451,530).
During this period, nine companies with Kazakh capital were registered in the Antalya province of Turkey. The total capital of Kazakh companies registered in the first 11 months of 2019 in Antalya amounted to over 1.5 million liras ($257,921).
From January through November 2019, two mining companies, five construction companies, 16 wholesale and retail companies and two travel companies with Kazakh capital were registered in Turkey.
The remaining five companies with Kazakh capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
According to the TOBB, the total capital of 16 wholesale and retail companies registered in the reported period amounted to exceeded 2.2 million liras ($373,749).
