BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 25. The Uzbek citizens purchased 313 real estate objects in Türkiye in 2023, which is 223 objects less compared to 2022, Trend reports, referring to the General Directorate of the Land Registry and Cadastre of Türkiye.
The General Directorate noted that in December last year, citizens of Uzbekistan purchased 24 real estate objects in Türkiye, which is 20 properties less than in December 2022.
Meanwhile, 138,577 apartments were purchased in Türkiye, which is 33.4 percent less than in December 2022.
Over 1.2 million apartments were purchased in Türkiye last year.
"This indicator is 17.5 percent lower than in 2022," the ministry informed.
To note, 2,064 apartments were sold to foreign citizens in Türkiye in December 2023, down 67.7 percent year on year.
