BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 9. Türkiye's port of Canakkale received 593 ships from January through December 2023, Trend reports, referring to Türkiye's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the port of Canakkale received 338 vessels under the flag of Türkiye and 255 vessels under the flags of other countries during this period.
To note, from January through December 2023, the ports of Türkiye received 60,195 vessels.
During this time, vessels under the flags of other countries accepted by Türkiye's ports amounted to 40,918 and vessels under the flag of Türkiye amounted to 19,277.
The Ministry emphasized that in December last year, the ports of Türkiye accepted 4,697 vessels (3,190 vessels under the flags of other countries and 1,507 vessels under the flag of Türkiye).
