BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 15. Turkish steel exports to Kazakhstan decreased by 40.3 percent from January through June 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, totaling $11.5 million, Trend reports via the Trade Ministry of Türkiye.
"In June 2024, Türkiye exported steel products worth $2.2 million to Kazakhstan, which is 37.4 percent less than in the same period last year," the ministry reported.
Notably, steel exports from Türkiye increased by 10.6 percent year-on-year to $7.9 billion from January through June 2024.
"Türkiye exported steel worth $1.3 billion in June this year, up 0.7 percent year-on-year," the ministry stated.
Additionally, the ministry noted that Türkiye exported steel worth $15.6 billion over the past 12 months (June 2023–June 2024).
