BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 16. Turkish exports of cement products to Uzbekistan decreased by 3 percent year-on-year to $7.3 million from January through June 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported $763,000 worth of cement products to Uzbekistan in June this year, which is 33.3 percent less than in June last year," the statement from the ministry said.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of cement products to world markets from January through June 2024 decreased by 9.4 percent compared to the same period in 2023, to $2.1 billion.
"In June this year, Türkiye exported cement worth $336.5 million, which is 18.3 percent less than in June last year," the statement of the ministry noted.
To note, Türkiye exported $4.3 billion worth of cement products over the past 12 months (from June 2023 through June 2024).
