BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 18. Cement exports from Türkiye to Kyrgyzstan decreased by 92.8 percent from January through June 2024 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $1.8 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
"In June this year, Türkiye exported cement products worth $267,000 to Kyrgyzstan, marking a 43.7 percent decrease compared to June last year," the ministry reported.
From January through June 2024, Türkiye's exports of cement products to global markets declined by 9.4 percent year-on-year, totaling $2.1 billion.
"Türkiye's cement exports in June this year amounted to $336.5 million, reflecting an 18.3 percent decrease compared to the same period last year," the ministry stated.
To note, Türkiye exported cement products worth $4.3 billion in the last 12 months (June 2023–June 2024).
