BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 18. Exports of cement products from Türkiye to Turkmenistan decreased by 33.6 percent from January through June 2024 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $6.6 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
"In June this year, Türkiye exported cement products worth $1.3 million to Turkmenistan, marking a 16.7 percent decrease compared to June last year," the ministry stated.
From January through June 2024, Türkiye's exports of cement products to global markets decreased by 9.4 percent year-on-year, totaling $2.1 billion.
"Türkiye exported cement worth $336.5 million in June this year, down 18.3 percent year-on-year," according to the ministry.
The country's total exports of cement products amounted to $4.3 billion in the last 12 months (June 2023-June 2024).
