BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 7. Türkiye's steel exports to Kyrgyzstan decreased by 13.2 percent from January through July 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 and amounted to $2.5 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.
"In July 2024, Türkiye exported steel products worth $664,000 to Kyrgyzstan, a 39.9 percent increase compared to the same period last year," the ministry reported.
The ministry also noted that from January through July 2024, Türkiye's steel exports rose by 12.3 percent year-on-year, totaling $9.3 billion.
"In July 2024, Türkiye's total steel exports reached $1.4 billion, marking a 23.9 percent increase from the previous year," the statement added.
Over the past 12 months (July 2023 through July 2024), Türkiye exported steel products valued at $15.9 billion.
