BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 22. The export of cement products from Türkiye to Kazakhstan increased by 20.3 percent in the period from January through September 2024 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $9.3 million.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Ministry of Trade shows that in September this year, Türkiye exported $668,076 worth of cement to Kazakhstan, which is 17.4 percent less than in September last year.
Meanwhile, total cement exports from Türkiye to world markets decreased by 7.7 percent from January through September 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, totaling $3.3 million.
Türkiye exported $377 million worth of cement in September 2024, which is 1.4 percent less than in September 2023.
To note, Türkiye exported $4.3 million worth of cement in the last 12 months (from September 2023 through September 2024).
