BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. Azerbaijani citizens purchased 604 real estate objects in Türkiye from January through September 2024, which is 38 fewer than in the same period last year, the statistics of Türkiye's General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre said, Trend reports.
In September 2024 alone, Azerbaijani citizens acquired 87 real estate objects in Türkiye, 11 fewer than in September 2023.
To note, a total of 140,919 apartments were purchased across Türkiye in September 2024, reflecting a 37.3 percent increase compared to September 2023.
The information notes that 947,236 apartments were purchased in Türkiye from January through September 2024, marking a 5.2 percent rise from the same period in the previous year.
A total of 2,022 apartments were sold to foreign nationals in Türkiye in September 2024, which is 31 percent less than in the same month of 2023.
However, foreign nationals purchased 17,090 apartments in Türkiye from January through September this year, down 39.1 percent compared to the same period last year.
