BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 8. Türkiye's steel exports to Kazakhstan fell 22.1 percent from January through October 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, totaling $25.2 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.
“Türkiye exported $3.6 million worth of steel products to Kazakhstan in October this year, which is 0.6 percent more than the same period last year,” the statement of the ministry reads.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's steel exports to global markets rose by nine percent to $13.5 million from January through October 2024 compared to the same month in 2023.
“In October this year, Türkiye exported steel worth $1.2 million, down 4.3 percent year-on-year,” the information notes.
To note, Türkiye exported $16 million worth of steel in the last 12 months (from October 2023 through October 2024).
