BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 25. As many as 88 companies with Iraqi capital were registered in Türkiye in the period from January through October 2024, which is 59 companies less than the same period in 2023, Trend reports via the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB).
“While the total capital of Iraqi companies registered in Türkiye amounted to 161.9 million Turkish Liras ($4.6 million) in the reporting period, this figure amounted to 174.4 million Turkish Liras ($5.04 million) in the same period of 2023,” the statement of TOBB reads.
The agency also noted that from January through October 2024, the majority of Iraqi companies were registered in Istanbul (70).
“The total capital of Iraqi companies registered in Istanbul amounted to 122.7 million Turkish Liras ($3.5 million),” TOBB noted.
According to the information, 38 trading companies with Iraqi capital were registered in Türkiye in the period from January through October 2024. The rest of the companies cover other sectors of the economy.
