BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 28. A total of 82 companies with Egyptian capital were registered in Türkiye from January through October 2024, which is 58 companies less than in the same period of 2023, Trend reports via the statement from the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB).
“In the reporting period, the total capital of Egyptian companies registered in Türkiye amounted to 130.2 million liras ($3.76 million) against 106.45 million liras ($3 million) for the same period of 2023,” the statement reads.
The authority also observed that, over the previous 10 months, 78 Egyptian companies registered in Istanbul.
“The total capital of Egyptian companies registered in Istanbul amounted to 119.15 million liras ($3.44 million),” the statement explained.
From January through October of this year, Türkiye registered 48 trading companies with Egyptian capital. The rest of the companies cover other sectors of the economy.
