BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 12. The volume of steel exports from Türkiye to Iran decreased by 28.7 percent in the period from January through November this year compared to the same period of 2023 and amounted to $36.5 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.
Türkiye exported steel products worth $3.3 million to Iran in November 2024, which is 9.4 percent less than in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's steel exports to world markets increased by 8.9 percent to $14.7 million in the period from January through November 2024 compared to the same month in 2023.
To note, Türkiye exported steel worth $16 million during the last 12 months (from November 2023 through November 2024).
